Position Overview:As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support managers and employees by managing organizational and communication-related tasks.
- Attend meetings and accurately record minutes.
- Create spreadsheets, manage databases, and prepare presentations, reports, and documents.
- Handle incoming calls, take messages, or transfer calls as needed.
- Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; complete expense reports.
- Compose and prepare correspondence.
- Coordinate data collection for various reports.
- Set up and maintain files and meeting minutes.
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on issues and concerns addressed to the Executive Director including sensitive or confidential matters.
- Manage the Executive Directors calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange staff meetings.
- Schedule and conduct Interviews
- Manage employee onboarding system and files
- Welcome visitors and provide facility tours when necessary.
- May supervise the work of others and cover the reception desk as needed.
- May manage and coordinate administrative programs and program activities.
- Responsible for accurate and timely physician and other provider credentialing, including maintaining contract files.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
- Three or more years of experience supporting executives, preferably in a developmental disabilities services environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, work well in both team and independent settings, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, telephone systems, and office equipment.
- Ability to use good judgment and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Direct Support Professional (click the arrows at the end of this line for a full job description)
We are looking for motivated Full-Time, Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team at our Hampton group home.
The Direct Support Professional will provide daily living skills, supportive program services, and assistance to individuals in residential (group home), in-home, day support, and community-based settings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist and support individuals with daily living, such as assistance with eating, dressing, bathing, restroom use (when needed), etc.
Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals by complying with Medicaid,
Licensing, HCBS Rights Policy, DBHDS, and OSHA regulations;
Administer prescribed medication and assist with self-administration of medication, per the company’s policies and procedures.
Assist with housekeeping tasks, cleaning and disinfecting, laundry and ironing, etc.
Capability to work with a group of three to four individuals.
Support and assist each individual with prescribed interaction activities, such as natural support, participation in leisure activities, and the development of appropriate social behaviors.
Participate in the development of obtainable goals and outcomes for the individuals’ person-centered plans, documentation of services, and activities scheduled for each individual.
Must report any evidence of abuse, neglect, and other health and safety issues immediately to management. Complete incident reports per company policies and procedures to management for review.
Develop and maintain an open line of communication for relevant information about the individuals with the appropriate staff members at the beginning and end of shifts.
Interaction with individuals, staff, and management should be within a consistent manner of respect, including language and tone of voice.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience working in a group home or direct care agency, specializing in adults with ID/DD and/or physical disabilities.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, a reliable vehicle, and insurance. A declaration page will be required (the applicant’s name must be on the insurance, whether as a policyholder or an authorized driver).
Must have or be willing to obtain Medication Aid, First Aid/CPR/AED, and MANDT training certification. In addition, must identify staff development opportunities i.e. Continuing Education/In-service.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (i.e. reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, etc.)
Acceptable criminal background and past employer reference checks.
Preferred:
AAS in Special Education, Human Services, or a similar discipline is highly preferred
Basic computer skillsAbility to commute/relocate:
